So I was trying to keep this thing at one post per day, but I just can’t hold this one in. I cannot handle the secretary at my job. If you ask me about her on a daily basis, I could probably rattle off about 10 ghetto things she has done/said on that particular day. I could devote an entire blog to her. So why is she on my nerves at this particular moment? Well it started out with someone telling her that her hair looked nice today. Her response “I washed it”. WHHHHYYYYYYYYY? You don’t tell white people that…they already think you’re nasty. They don’t understand that black women do not wash their hair on a daily basis. She lacks that filter that allows you to understand that there are certain things you don’t discuss with white people. Now she is telling a loud, very ghetto story about her daughter (I’m not even gonna share with you her daughter’s name—-just think of the most ghetto name you can think of and you’ll be on the right track) and the entire office can hear her because her desk is centrally located. Her college aged daughter does her hair. It is oh so pretty! Nice orange color…looks like a mop…CLASSY. Mind you, I work with mainly old, white men. They are so confused, I’m sure. Oh, just so you can get a visual…picture a monkey with stringy orange hair…

Flying has become way too common. Gone are the days when you felt like somebody important when you travelled via plane. I remember when moms would have us pull out our Sunday’s Best when we were flying–only the privileged flew! Now it’s a whole different story. Is it just me, or can anybody and their brother purchase a plane ticket? I was at the airport the other day and made the following observations:
-
There is ALWAYS a ghetto/white trash, family of seven at the ticket counter holding up the check-in line because something “didn’t go right” with their tickets. They usually have about 80 pieces of luggage to further complicate the matter. At some point during the interaction, there is usually yelling, and even sometimes, tears.
-
Oh the security line…at this point, you should know what is acceptable and what is not. Take your fucking shoes off, your fucking belt, and empty your pockets before anyone has to tell you that shit—you are holding people up! It really shouldn’t be that confusing anymore.
-
Why are people so PRESSED to board their flight? You have an assigned seat, so I’m pretty sure it’s not going anywhere. If they are boarding zone 1 and you are in zone 10, why are you huddled all around the podium. You have 9 more zones until your zone is called, so get the fuck out of my way and sit down somewhere!
-
They don’t even clean planes anymore. I got to my seat and it looked like someone emptied their cheap ass bag of pretzels and stomped all over them. Awesome. I paid close to $300 to sit in filth and listen to the white trash bitch next to me talk about how this was her first time flying. Did I secretly go to hell and nobodody told me?
-
Didn’t you hear the announcement that its time to stow all tray tables and return your seat to an upright position? There is always at least one dumb ass that is completely oblivious to that announcement.
-
I don’t know about you, but I know which bag is mine when it comes around on the conveyer belt. I hate when dumb ass people check the name on every bag that passes by. WTF? If you didn’t have a purple bag, then why the hell are you checking to see if it’s yours?
If you do any of this dumb shit, please stop.

So, I don’t think that anything I have to say is that bad, but I do know that I can tend to be a little on the inappropriate side at times. My bad! I’m sorry, I only say the things that you think to yourself. This site is an opportunity for me to vent about the many WTF things I experience on a daily basis. If you agree with something I say or have a story of your own you would like to share, I encourage you to do so! However, if you comment on how rude or insensetive I am, I’m gonna have to ask you to shut the fuck up. That’s just annoying. If you don’t like what I say…don’t read it, moron! With that being said, here is my first entry…
If you’re young, black, and live in Atlanta (hell, any major city for that matter), you’ve probably received numerous mass emails inviting you to the “dopest” of parties. When I first moved to Atlanta about five years ago, it was exciting and new! Now it’s just plain wack and I’m tired of FCC, the Superfriends, and Dynasty entertainment clogging up my inbox with their horrible flyers covered in spelling errors! Today I received a flyer for a party at the View entitled Reasonable Clout. Pretty much, only the sexy can attend, duhhhhhhh! They even included photos from last year’s extravaganza to entice folks…

Ohhhhh yeah….I sooooooooooo want to party with these people! They are sooooooooo freakin sexy and clearly have clout. Hmmmmm, I don’t know if I can even compete with all the coolness and sexiness at this party.
Geeez. I guess it could be worse, I could live in Detroit…
